The ALC262 series supports host/soft audio from the Intel ICH chipset, and also from any other HDA compatible audio controller. The ALC262 series supports 16/20/24 S/PDIF input and output to offer easy connection of PCs to high quality consumer electronic products such as digital decoders and speakers. The other one is ALC262 C version can support scalable I/O voltage (1.5V to 3.3V) on HDA link, which will be a requirement in future chipsets designed for low voltage operation. With digital microphone implementation, especially the laptop system can achieve better voice input quality without noise interference caused by geometric PCB layout and radio frequency devices. The ALC262 C version supports all mainly digital microphones supplied on current market. The first one is the digital microphone interface is supported. Two functions are added in ALC262 C version.
